History

Kainos Table Tennis Foundation was established in February 2020 in Kwesimintsinm-Takoradi of Ghana with the vision of making table tennis the most popular sport in our community, the nation and beyond. It begun as a business on pay as you loose then there became a need for harnessing talents in Kwesimintsinm and the communities around it. There was the need for new logistics and renting of training room and it was gotten single handedly. We moved from one training room to another due to financial unstableness. The foundation also purchased table tennis materials( table tennis tables, training jessies, training sneakers, multi and match balls, blades and rubbers, transportations for tournaments, organising tours matches and utilities) all by the Management. We begun to handpick children from the ages of six(6) years to sixteen(16)years both boys and girls respectively. Now in 2023, we have four(4) girls and ten(10) boys of which the youngest is seven(7) years old and the oldest in fifteen(15) years old. Because its a foundation, the C.E.O sponsors every expenses related to the foundation and not a penny is taken from any player of the foundation nor their parents/guardians. KWTTF have emblem, vision statement, mission statement, core values, membership forms, training manuals (both videos and pamphlet) and we are on Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube.

Kainos Winners Table Tennis foundation trains children and teenagers in the sport of table tennis and any other child who shows interest in the sport of table tennis. We believe that through this initiative, children in our communities can bring out the best in them and their talents would be natured. The Foundation will go in the long run to help build confidence in these children, it will help motivate these children to go to school thereby reducing the incidence of these children neglecting school for other negative practices in the community.
